This policy explains how Upawprints collects, uses, and protects information when you create, visit, or manage a pet memorial.
Information we collect
This may include account identifiers, pet names and types, dates, photos, life stories, visitor messages, candle activity, reports, and basic technical records. The corresponding anniversary-exclusive reward unlocks after 3, 5 or 10 full years of continuous Premium membership; recipient, phone and U.S. address details are collected only when fulfillment requires delivery.
How we use it
We use information to create and display memorials, save changes, provide messages and candles, review reports, maintain safety, and improve the experience. Shipping details are used only to make, send, and support the corresponding physical keepsake.
Public and private choices
Creators choose whether others may visit a memorial and whether it appears in Remembered Today. Photos, stories, and messages on a shared memorial may be visible to visitors, so do not upload information you want to keep private.
Photo and text safety
We may use automated tools and human review to identify graphic violence, sexual content, abuse, harassment, fraud, and other high-risk material. Automated decisions can be wrong, and users may contact us to request review.
Information sharing
We do not sell personal information. Hosting, storage, security, and content-review providers may process limited information needed to run the service. Shipping details are shared only with administrators, makers, and carriers when needed for fulfillment and never appear on the public memorial.
Storage, backups, and deletion
Photos and writing remain the property of the people who provide them. We do not use private memorial content to train generative AI or sell that content. Memorial creators can download a complete backup or permanently delete a memorial. Account-wide export and deletion requests are available from the Account & privacy requests page. Shipping details are retained only as needed for fulfillment, support, fraud prevention and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can manage visibility, edit content, download a complete backup, permanently delete a memorial, or contact us with a privacy request. If a major service change affects long-term access, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and time to export.
